Material production

Tsujimura Forestry engages in forest maintenance and timber production. The main tree species are cedar and cypress, and within the forest are large cedar trees dating back to the Edo period, some 200 to 300 years old. Recently, the timber has been used for local historical and cultural projects, such as the renovation of Odawara Castle's keep and the construction of the torii gate at Ninomiya Hotoku Shrine.

当園では、伝統ある品種「白加賀」や「十郎」を含む200本を超える梅の木々を丹精込めて育て、その豊かな実りを買い取り業者様及びオンラインでの直販にてお届けしております。

また、柑橘類に関しましても、複数の種類を栽培し、フォレストアドベンチャーをはじめとする様々な場でご購入いただけます。

竹林では筍の生産と販売を行っております。また、お客様には筍掘り体験のイベントも開催しています。さらに、イノシシから筍を守るために伐採した竹を利用して竹柵を設置し、農作物被害を防ぐ取り組みを行っています。このように、竹を有効活用しながら地域の農業を守る持続可能な方法を実現しています。
